UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT
DEADLINE May 15, 2009

The District of Columbia Area (DC) Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants is pleased to announce that we will be awarding a scholarship to a deserving accounting student in the Washington Metropolitan area.  The DC Chapter will be awarding the scholarship based on the ASWA Educational Foundation (ASWAEF) guidelines for Undergraduate Scholarships.    The DC Chapter will award one scholarship with the value of $2,500.  The DC Chapter scholarship will be awarded at our October Membership meeting.

May 19th – Annual Ethics Requirement for CPAs
We are happy to announce the return of Jim Cole from the VSCPA.  For those of you who missed last year, Mr. Cole was an excellent speaker with a laid back presentation style. Please come join us and earn your Ethics requirement. This is an excellent opportunity for you to bring a friend and introduce them to our organization.
